The TAP National Conference was this past weekend in Los Angeles. The meeting of so many TAP professionals was exciting and humbling. I wanted to share how powerful the Louisiana group was. Mr. Pastorek, Ms. Talamo, and many of our executive master teachers were in the spotlight throughout the conference. Monique Wild, master teacher and friend, was the featured master teacher for the pre-conference training video.
I can remember when I began teaching that Louisiana was not always the state receiving praises. This weekend Louisiana educators demonstrated we are passionately pursuing a rigorous standard of education. We have miles to go, but we are miles ahead of some.
